With a realistic and innovative approach to education, the Professional Program in Computer Science at the University of Chicago offers an expanding curriculum that continually pushes into cutting edge technology. Taught by world-renowned faculty and industry experts, our curriculum reflects the technology needs of the evolving business world.

Students pursuing their MS degrees in our programs gain a wide perspective of the current art and practice of computing. With a focus on computer science fundamentals and the needs of businesses today, students are equipped with a strong foundation and the necessary tools to utilize new technologies and prepare them for key technology application and decision- making.

Currently we offer more then 45 courses including enterprise software architecture, databases, data mining, data warehousing, networks, programming in C, C++ and Java, information technology security, software construction, bioinformatics, medical informatics, Unix systems programming, industrial linguistics and architecture. Our curriculum is continually evolving to keep pace with current and emerging technologies.
