"SOUGHT A HIGHER EDUCATION DEGREE"
Eshe holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science and has done internship and project work in Java applets and web programming.
DECIDING ON A GRADUATE DEGREE
Eshe chose to go to graduate school because she was not satisfied with her undergraduate GPA. She believed that higher education would position her better in the job market and also give her a stronger skill set.
DECIDING ON UNIVERSITY OF CHICAGO
Eshe chose the University of Chicago for its reputation for academic excellence and its prime location in the Chicagoland area.
AFTER THE MASTERS PROGRAM
Eshe is currently a Design Automation Engineer at Intel.
The tough course work at UChicago prepared Eshe for the rigors of a career in engineering. She uses her education to analyze problems, troubleshoot issues and design solutions. She also says she uses her programming experience, presentation and communication skills on a daily basis.
Eshe credits the graduate program for improving her abilities to solve complex problems and collaborate with peers when necessary.
ESHE’S ENDORSEMENT OF THE MASTERS PROGRAM
“The program, more than anything, gave me the confidence, through knowledge and understanding, to provide value in the work place through my contributions.
As far as I'm concerned, the degree pays for itself. If you truly desire to pursue a career in technology, it is a valuable program that will equip you with the technical and professional skills required to be successful.
The largest advantage of holding a master's in computer science is the competitive edge in the job market. It also provides a stronger bargaining chip in salary negotiations.”
